Last Sunday,16th, was the national election day and LDP, Liberal Democratic Party, slashed DPJ, Democratic Party in Japan.

I supported DPJ and they had supported us cab drivers.

I have no idea where we, Japan, are going but I'm kindof sure I'm going nowhere from here behind the wheel.

I just believe that things aren't going wrong way for us and cab riders.

It's December now.

People are moving around so that we are meant to have a few rides.

"December" is called "Siwasu" here in Japan, means that even teachers rush and run so busily.

This Choei Taxi is called "Ita tak" means "pain taxi" or like "shaming taxi"

November 22nd Thur. ‐ Thanks Giving Weekend

It's nice and warm day in late autumn.

It's thanksgiving holiday in western countries.

In Japan actuary, we have a national holiday in this same week.

It's called the day of "Kinro Kansya".

It means the day that we thank workers.

I don't really know about thanksgiving day in west but "Thank" and "Kansya" are almost same word.

But here in Japan, we nomally haven't got any party, turkey and other nice dishes...

This year, tomorrow, 23rd, is our holiday and it happens to be a little longer weekend.

I feel like we want to have a small party with lovely kids.

Business was very slow around noon but it's getting picked up later now.

It was a day off yesterday, and I run a little longer in the afternoon.

It was 4:44(16:44) that convenience store Lawson just in front of my cab lighted up the sign board.

I'm here reading book that my daughter recommend for about 3 hours without any ride!

This is my son who got a couple goals on today's soccer game.

He is only 5 years old and joining first grade guys team.

Anyway, it's the anniversary for him to be a man and for me to be the happiest guy in the world having this lovely boy.

This is a hell Sunday shift.

I was away this morning as I went back my hometown on Friday.

I (and my wife) drove 300 kilo and alived about 1 in the afternoon.

Then I got here on work at 3.

But at night I found out I lost money, 4000 yen! today.

Then my day suddenly got dark.

I'm on a bad roll now.

So depressed...

Pink Japan

Japanese women soccer team got silver medals at London Olympic.

They are called "Nadeshiko(pink flower) Japan", and maybe most popular national team of this Olympic.

I wasn't very interested in women soccer before this Olympic, but after I watch a couple games, I'm impressed a lot.

And the champions, American team, are absolutely worth gold medals.

Gymnast Uchimura won a gold medal (2nd for team Japan) which pleased me a lot early in the morning (that was jast passed 3 in the morning).

July 23rd Mon - The Shift After Holiday

Here comes dark clouds, they would bring evening shower later.

I kind of like shower in summer, because it cools down the ground and sometimes, makes our business a little better.

I took two days holiday last weekend, and went family trip to the beach.

It was nice spending time with my kids.

Now I have a few to worry about especially for my dad.

Maybe my dad had spent time for me when I was a little child.

And we would have had good time.

Thinking about that, I would see what I should do now and it never be weary for me.

Business goes very slow this Monday.

July 15th Sat. - Silk Tree

For some reason, I'm now a captive of silk trees.

I watch around and sometimes park my cab and take pictures of those trees when I drive.

The trees has flourished since late last month and now got darken the color of those flowers.

I never felt the silk flowers that beautiful.

It's like cherry blossom of the summer.

I went to see my kids' soccer practice this morning and started just passed one o'clock.

And soon after I went in the station, I had four grand ride and then, went all right.

It's not bad comparing I waited four hours to have first ride last Saturday.

Now I'm a little stuck, no ride after six.

It was clear and warm summer day.

It suddenly got hot this afternoon.

It's still cool in the night and morning so this heat is just sudden.

I was trying to attend Kobe marathon held in November but I got a mail that told I was out for the lottery.

I'm disappointed but I cannot understand they pick runners by lottery.

Communism shouldn't be applied to any sport.

They should have better system to pick runners like taking past race data.

Anyway, we are the nationals who love marathon maybe most in the world.

They should take everyone who wants to be there and everyone in our society should take the cost.

June 27th Wed. - Silk Tree

This is a silk tree I cherished so much.

It's cut once in the winter, then I realized how much I loved the tree.

I gave up at that time and I felt down like I couldn't sleep a few nights.

But unbelievably, this new shoot began to glow.

I was so glad that I realized that the life is so strong, stronger than I've ever thought in my life.

And life is beautiful.

But this shoot, even with the whole root, was cut again.

Forcast had said this morning would be cloudy so difficult to watch the eclipse.

But it was few clouds, almost sunny sky that showed great astronomical event, annlar solar eclipse.

It's getting very warm now after the chilly week.

Since I run alot the day before yesterday, I still have sore on a few parts of my body.

And my body starves energy a little more.

I got 4 kilograms of weight only in a day after I cut off my weight 4 taking one week before that.

I just jumped in the store and bought sandwiches and a Japanese cake made by beans.
