I Look to You

The radio played the song "I look to you" by Whitney Houston a little ago.

I stoped what I was doing and listened it.

Beautiful Song

There is no word "Christmas" in the lyrics, but I dare categorize the song the best "Christmas song" for the year.

Kobe Luminarie

I went a famous illumination event in Kobe day before yesterday.

The photo above is an image of temporary shops around the event.

It' raining outside and I'm listening the radio in my taxicab.

They play the speech by Barak Obama who receive the Nobel peace prize for this year.

I think it's too much to give the prize once an year.

Once a decade would be more appropriate for the NOBLE prize.

No rides for hours

Then the radio plays a song which fits this situation badly.

I can't fight this feeling anymore.

Sales for now \3920/4hrs

New Leader

We'll got new Prime Minister,Hatoyama, ina few minutes.

He is the first one who's not from LDP,and lead the majorityparty in parliament.

I just applause him and his fellows, and see this historical moment with a little joy.

Rainy season ended in Tokyo.

It was indeed very hot.

Pure Shores

Pure Shores by All Saints was now played on fm cocolo,a radio station in Japan.

It's a sweet summer song in 2000 (9 years ago!).

I love songs that remind us days in the summer.

Last year,Jason Mraz was the one.

What's for this year...

Cherry blossomed!

Cherry trees just started to blossom its beautiful pink blossoms.

They'll keep holding those for a couple weeks, only a couple weeks!

Their short-lived lives catch our Japanese people's hearts.

We drink beer under those trees this time of the year.

That's the way we start an year(Japanese school year starts in April).

I hope a few people jump on our taxi after drinking...

Seoul

I'm in Seoul now.

I stayed in Busan for one night and took highway bus from there.

Busan was nice and warm city (though it was raining in this morning), and Seoul is nice but very cold and crowdy city.

I walk around a little and eat some Korean noodle (kal kuks? don know how to spell it).

I'm eager to learn Korean characters, hun-gul. I cannot talk Korean, it cannot be helped for now, but cannnot read Korean, that's too bad.

I just wonder and get mad why we, Japanese, are not educated (even basic) Korean language and culture.

Today, it's time for us (Japanese and Korean) to break the history strain, and go on to the Asian prosperity.

Beer Please

Today's words are

(mecchu juseyo)

means

[Beer please]

in English. These words are very important and crucial when I travel abroad.

It's rainy day today.Taxy users shoud be more than usual, and sales should be...

We,drivers who work for a company, nomally get half of our sales(fare).

Today is Sunday, but no extra pay.

Everything's from sales,Everything from customer, and we work for society...

Road to Korea

I made up my mind later in last month.

I'm goin to Korea!

I'm goin there in March to run Soul marathon.

I feel exited to think about that, the journey, and the marathon.

I started to learn Korean language,so I'll write down a little of korean words here as I study.

The first one,is

(toman nayo)

This means

[see you later] in English.

And funny thing is,the pronounce (toman nayo) means

Don't stop

in Japanese,kind of slung...

anyway it's good to memorize.
